Could you be Scotland's next Oyster Shucking Champion?
Stranraer Oyster Festival will host the Scottish Oyster Shucking Championships 2025 on Saturday 13th September. You'll race against the clock and against other industry professionals to open a platter of Loch Ryan native oysters. Marks will be awarded on the speed of opening, technique and presentation, which means it's not always the fastest shucker who triumphs!
