We're delighted to announce the launch of a free shuttle bus service to and from Stranraer Oyster Festival 2026, run in partnership with Wigtownshire Community Transport.
No parking stress, no worrying about the drive home, just hop on and let us do the rest. The bus will pick up at five stops around town, Stranraer Academy, Lidl, the playpark at Ochtrelure, Queen's Drive (The Boag), and Sheuchan School on Leswalt High Road, before heading straight to the festival site.
The service is free to ride, but a seat must be booked in advance for both the outbound and return journey. Spaces are limited, so we'd encourage booking early to avoid disappointment.
This is a brand new trial for us, introduced to make the festival weekend that bit easier for visitors. If your plans change after booking, please cancel your seat so someone else can take the space. Help us make this trial a success and we'll look to bring back an even bigger service next year.
